As part of celebrating Israel’s 75th year of Independence, KKL-JNF brought with them, in a complex operation, an olive tree from Israel which was planted in a special ceremony attended by the Gibraltar Minister for Environment, John Cortes, and Governor David Steel. This olive tree symbolizes the special bond between the people of Gibraltar, KKL-JNF, and the people of Israel.
